Sudoku ~ Classic Puzzle Game App Reviews

Ive been using this Sudoku game since I first got a Windows Mobile device back in the days of my Tilt. It was not cheap then, but it was worth it. I even kept the phone around as my Sudoku playing device for a while after buying a new phone. I took 1 star off because it could use an iOS graphics treatment, which it never got, even when it was first ported over.

The absolutely best Sudoku app. It is so easy to go back and forth between trial and final numbers. One negative; I lost 2,670,000 points suddenly and dont know why. Bummer. Still great fun.

The best version of sudoku I have found. Different levels make it easy for the first time player, or those looking for a challenge.

With the bigger iPhone 6 screen you dont have to keep moving the entry screen around. The app lets you make mistakes. Other apps do too much for you. The hardest level is a big step up from the next one down. I wish there was a level between them.

Ive enjoyed the older version for many years. This is a great update with minimal clutter. Really dislike the ads. Thanks for the ad free option now.

Easy to use. Beginner level is perfect to learn, and each level gets a little more challenging. I love this app!

Needs to make it so that we can compete with the " field". Should be part of Game Center to compete with others

Nice that it doesnt correct you and helps build the Sudoku eye to catch the next move.

Would however like to play in landscape mode.

As good a sudoku game as I have found. Dont seem to repeat games ( I play a lot). And the mechanics work well. My only gripe is the nag screen for a review. ( I am finally surrendering). The ads between games are pushy, but that is the price of a free to PLay game.

My only complaint is that its too easy to hit the wrong key and clear your statistics history. Its happened several times. Amen! This hasnt been fixed. Why not add a confirmation screen asking if you really want to clear stats?

It keeps my mind engaged when it would otherwise be atrophying.

Have been a player of this specific Sudoku for years through its various versions. Flawless, challenging, rewarding, and provides the desired distraction from a busy day.

Works great. Buy i would like to be able to delete a number when entering my own sudoku. If I make a mistake I have to start entering from the beginning. i like entering the sudoku from from my local newspaper and compete with my friends. It would be nice to have my own rating for my entered puzzles. Lastly could we have a way to save a party finished Puzzle?

Good game. Master level definitely more challenging than five-star in newspaper. Like the set up. So much easier than doing them on paper. Would love to know what scores correspond to rankings. For example, been on expert level for some time. Want to know at what score I will need to attain master. Have had one problem periodically, though. Upon completing an in-built, computer-generated puzzle, the clock keeps running. When I ask for the solution, I get a message telling me that I solved it, but only in-built Sudokus count toward my ranking. This is especially frustrating after having completed a master-level puzzle and knowing it does not get me a better ranking.
